Air Fryer Sweet Chili Lime Salmon Skewers
Equipment
- 10-12 bamboo skewers that fit in your air fryer
Ingredients
Main Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless skinless salmon fillet - cut into 1” pieces
Marinade:
- 2 cloves garlic - minced
- 1 tsp ginger paste or grated ginger
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp chili powder - optional
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- 1 pinch sugar
Sauce:
- 1/4 cup sweet Thai chili sauce
- 1 tbsp mayo
- 1/4 tsp soy sauce
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 pinch of salt
- Black pepper
- 2 tbsp chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
- Make the marinade: In a large bowl, whisk together all the marinade ingredients until well combined.
- Marinate the salmon: Add the salmon pieces to the marinade and gently toss to coat. Let marinate for 10–15 minutes.
- Assemble the skewers: Thread the salmon pieces onto skewers that fit into your air fryer. Pack the pieces fairly close together without crushing them to help keep the salmon moist.
- Cook the skewers: Air fry at 400°F for 10-13 minutes until fully cooked through.
- Make the sauce: While the salmon cooks, whisk together all of the sauce ingredients until smooth.
- Finish: Drizzle 2–3 teaspoons of the Thai chili lime sauce over each skewer.
- Serve: Enjoy warm over steamed jasmine rice. Garnish with extra cilantro, sliced green onions, and/or a squeeze of fresh lime if desired.
