MAIN INGREDIENTS FOR AIR-FRYER PORK KATSU CURRY

Red Onion – A key component of the curry base, red onions add a sweet and savory depth of flavor to the dish. They are typically sautéed until caramelized, contributing richness and aroma to the curry sauce.

Potato – Potatoes are an essential ingredient in Japanese curry, providing heartiness and texture to the dish. They are typically cut into small chunks and cooked until tender, soaking up the flavorful curry sauce and adding a comforting element to the meal.

Carrot – Carrots add a touch of sweetness and vibrant color to the curry. Sliced or diced, they are simmered until soft, enhancing the overall flavor profile and adding visual appeal to the dish.

Golden Curry Curry Blocks – Golden curry blocks are the secret ingredient that gives Japanese curry its distinctive flavor and velvety texture. These convenient blocks are made from a blend of spices, including curry powder, turmeric, and other seasonings, which are dissolved into the curry sauce to create a rich and aromatic base.

Pork Loin Chops – Pork loin chops are the star of the show in Pork Katsu Curry. They are coated with seasoned flour and egg, breaded with panko breadcrumbs, and air-fried until golden brown and crispy. The juicy, flavorful pork pairs perfectly with the rich curry sauce, creating a satisfying and delicious meal.

Panko Bread Crumbs – Panko breadcrumbs are used to coat the pork loin chops, creating a crispy and crunchy exterior when air-fried. Unlike traditional breadcrumbs, panko breadcrumbs are light and airy, resulting in a lighter and crispier texture that complements the tender pork.
